4. Acrylic rubber (ACM)
Acrylate rubber is a copolymer of an alkyl acrylate monomer and a small number of monomers with crosslinking active groups. The main chain of the polymer is osmium and type and contains polar ester groups. As a result, acrylate rubber has outstanding heat-resistant oil properties, which is extremely suitable for silicone rubber single wire seal in automobiles, and is known as "vehicle rubber". Acrylate rubber is characterized by heat-resistant oxygen aging and oil resistance. Its performance in hot oil is better than that of nitrile oil-resistant rubber. It can be immersed in hot oil for a long time. This excellent feature makes it occupy all kinds of automotive sealing accessories Great advantage. Use it as a gearbox seal on an automobile, a piston rod seal, and a spark plug cap, radiator hose, and valve rod oil stopper. In addition to being used in the automotive industry, it can also be used in other fields that require ozone resistance, airtightness, flex resistance, and sunlight aging resistance. Seal products such as oil-resistant gaskets, heat-resistant oil diaphragms, and petroleum deep wells Sealing products for exploration equipment.

5. Silicone rubber (Q)
Speaking of silicone rubber, we must understand that it is only part of the polyorganosiloxane in the silicone polymer family. It is an organic elastomer obtained by hydrolysis and polycondensation of various dichlorosilanes, that is, high-temperature heat vulcanized silicone rubber. It has many unique and excellent properties not possessed by other rubbers. As a sealant, it is widely used in the automotive industry, aerospace industry, electrical and electronic industry, medical and health, people's daily necessities, and other aspects.
The heat-vulcanized silicone rubber that we often use for sealing now has two main categories, one is dimethyl silicone rubber (MQ), and the other is methyl vinyl silicone rubber (MVQ). Dimethyl silicone rubber is the earliest developed variety, although the use temperature is wide, from -60 to 250 degrees Celsius, the vulcanization time is long, the process performance is poor, and the high temperature pressure becomes large. It has been gradually replaced by methyl vinyl silicone rubber. This is because methyl vinyl silicone rubber introduces a small amount of unsaturated vinyl, so it has a qualitative leap in its vulcanization process and finished product performance, especially heat aging resistance and high-temperature compression resistance. In the silicone rubber series, methyl vinyl silicone rubber has the most varieties and the largest output.
The reason why silicone rubber is used as the sealant for seal products is because of its excellent resistance to high and low temperatures. The working temperature can reach -80 degrees Celsius to 250 degrees Celsius. At the same time, it has excellent ozone resistance and weather resistance. Especially its special physiological inertia is not available in all rubbers. Silicone rubber is unique in its excellent electrical insulation and high permeability.
Since silicone rubber has many of the above characteristics, it is also widely used in custom rubber components. Especially for aerospace and defense military products that can withstand harsh environments such as high and low temperature, ozone resistance, radiation resistance, flame retardancy. Such as breathing masks, sealing gaskets, leather cups, switch sheaths for astronauts and fighter pilots, etc. high-temperature resistant potentiometer sealing rings and shock-absorbing seals for electronic components in the electronic and electrical industry. The unique physiological inertia of silicone rubber is the best material for implantation into some artificial organs of the human body. With the development of science and technology, special silicone rubber is constantly emerging, such as silicon nitrogen rubber with a high-temperature resistance above 350 degrees Celsius, low phenyl silicone rubber with a low-temperature resistance of -90 degrees Celsius, conductive silicone rubber, heat shrinkable silicone rubber, etc., broadening the application field of silicone rubber.
