2. EPR series

Ethylene propylene rubber is formed by copolymerizing ethylene and propylene as the basic monomers. There are two types of ethylene propylene rubber. As mentioned above, the ethylene-propylene copolymer of ethylene and propylene is completely saturated with molecular chains, which is difficult to vulcanize. Even if it is vulcanized with organic peroxides, it will cause a lot of trouble. The other type is the widely used EPDM rubber, which is formed by copolymerizing three monomers of the ethylene-propylene-non-conjugated diene. The biggest feature is that the introduction of the third monomer on the side chain greatly speeds up the vulcanization and can be vulcanized with any common vulcanization system. There are many types of EPDM rubber, with the change of ethylene and propylene content and the type and content of the third monomer, there are oil-filled or non-oil-filled specifications and so on. EPDM rubber has the lowest density among all rubbers, only 0.86. Because its molecular main chain is entirely composed of ethylene and propylene unit links, it has high saturation and flexibility. Therefore, EPDM rubber has excellent weather resistance, water resistance, low-temperature resistance, heat resistance, and electrical insulation. In particular, EPDM rubber is unique for chemical resistance, such as animal and plant resistance. Fats, ethanol, ketones, water, alkalis, for ethanol resistance. Both water and alkali resistance is better than other synthetic rubbers. It has a wide range of applications. Its unique high-filling performance makes the product relatively cheap. The total consumption of synthetic rubber is ranked third in styrene and cis, In terms of industry, it is currently the main rubber species.

EPDM rubber due to its excellent weather resistance and aging resistance. In the application of sealing products, automotive interior, and exterior decoration, door and window sealing strips, sponge rubber strips, the most representative and the largest amount, are used for sanitary and faucet O-rings, valve plates, water pipe stop valves, water pump connection seals Gaskets, Silicone Rubber Single Wire Seal, low-pressure variable-shielded pump seals, fuel tank seals, electrical instrument panel seals, which are shielded pump seals with permanent deformation of not more than 10% by compression, The technical content is relatively high, and the water industry is exposed to disinfection water, and chloramine-resistant EPDM seals are key products.

3. Fluorine rubber series (FPM)

Fluorine rubber (FPM) refers to a synthetic polymer elastomer containing fluorine atoms in the carbon atoms of the main chain or side chain. As we all know, fluorine element is the most electronegative element in known chemical elements, and its polymer is not easily oxidized and decomposed. The fluorine atoms can be closely arranged around the carbon atoms, forming a barrier to the C-C bond, ensuring the chemical stability of the C-C and not being eroded. Fluorine rubber has excellent high-temperature resistance, and can still work for a long time at 250 degrees Celsius. And the anti-aging performance is superior to other synthetic rubbers, especially the corrosion resistance is more outstanding. The effect is very good for resistance to organic solvents, fuel oil, concentrated acid, strong oxidants, superheated water, vacuum resistance, and ozone resistance. It is interesting for its airtightness and high vacuum resistance. The airtightness is close to that of butyl rubber, and the high vacuum resistance is no other rubber. This characteristic of it makes it the preferred rubber accessory for space vehicles.

Fluorine rubber varieties can be divided into fluorine-containing olefin-based fluoro rubbers, including vinylidene fluoride-chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer, vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene copolymer, vinylidene fluoride-tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene ternary copolymer Substances, vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene copolymer, vinylidene fluoride-tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene terpolymer, tetrafluoroethylene-propylene copolymer. At present, the most commonly used is vinylidene fluoride rubber, perfluoro ether rubber is a special fluorine rubber, the price is very expensive, the average is 30,000 to 40,000 yuan per kilogram.

Fluorine rubber is widely used in the sealing accessories of the defense industry of petroleum, chemical, aviation, aerospace, automotive, machinery, electronics, such as automotive air conditioner seals, water pump and vacuum pump seals, fuel filter flange seals, exhaust valves, combustion devices Seals, O-rings for fuel injectors, sealing diaphragms, O-rings, oil seals, gaskets, and diaphragms used in other industries with different performances Device anti-explosion seals.
